Now you can send letters from the Boomstream platform using your own email. It is available as a part of the Branding option. These letters are templates with password access:
- when you manually add a customer;
- when a customer buys access to your media.
Earlier we sent all letters from no-reply@boomstream.com. But some of our users do not like the delivery score of letters, while others do not like the mention of "boomstream" in the email address. You can use a custom email in Branding settings, set your SMTP gateway, and customers will receive letters from this email.
You should note that in this case, we stop displaying the letter delivery status in the Customer List. Also, you should be aware of the limits that your email gateway has, as you use it for sending via SMTP. These may include:
- Number of letters sent from one email in a day
- Number of email recipients for one letter
